There was a cluster of activity around an ancient dig in Jordan. People all clamoring to see the lost tomb of the child ruler. The ruler's name was still unknown but the tribe was known as The Myradez. An ancient and believed magical sect of Islam. The tomb was excavated and quickly put on a world wide tour. After that....it was doomsday.
A simple act of Archeology has changed the Earth, and life as we know it. The unknown viral strain spread from patient Zero and the exhibit. At first it seemed the young were immune to it. It was spread not only by ar, but by touch, fluid exchange, everything. There was no safe haven, as the world leaders in their bunkers soon discovered. It only took a few months before the world was changed.
Those above the age of 21 lacked the proper immune system. First the symptoms resembld the flu. Fever, coughing, pale skin. But soon people began to die. The only problem was...they didn't stay dead. Zombies began to flood the streets, turning more and more people. But the younger people were completely immune...unless they were bit of course. But they soon began to develop incredible powers. That was almost 20 years ago. It's now 2032. Many have fallen to the zombies, but younger people have stepped up with new, even more incredible powers to fight.
The lines had been drawn. In cities all over the world Mankind's Legacy, a group of survivors began to spring up. But their enemies, the Chrch of Light also began to spring up. Both were out of Paradise City, a Northern California city. And this has become ground zero. Will they destroy each other, or will the zombies over run the planet?

In a region far from it's cousins, Mysste lies in the middle of a great ocean. Here Pokemon of all types run free and happily. However, not everything is quite as great as one might think.
There is a criminal organization about by the name of Night Shade, and their goal is to create vicious shadow Pokemon. One of their more ominous ideas is capturing the Legendary Pokemon and turning them to shadows, so they may use them to destroy what we all hold so dear.
Night Shade's base is found deep in the Exxa Wastes, and there a Professor by the name of Umbra is constantly at work making these Shadow Pokemon and distributing them to the grunts working at Night Shade. So far, this group has laid waste to almost the entire portion of Eastern Mysste, which was once a happy, thriving community. Now all that remains are ruins and forgotten Pokemon.
Fortunately, there is another organization rising, one that fights Night Shade and all they stand for. They are called Lumyn, and they work diligently to protect humans and Pokemon alike. They have befriended most of the Legendary Pokemon, and even have a special home for them in part of their Nature Reserve.
Though Lumyn's efforts are great and helpful, they stand hardly a chance against the huge forces of Night Shade. Night Shade is even starting to effect people like the Elite 4, forcing them to do their bidding. Soon every trainer will be at risk as Night Shade rises to the glory they so desperately want. Will you join the forces of Lumyn to stop them, or will you go with dark Night Shade trainers? Or maybe you're just stuck in between this mess. Fight your way through the dangerous Pokemon world and follow the destiny laid out for you!

Suigetsu smiled has he looked at all those yogurts, they smelled so good and were of a variety of flavors. There was green which was lemon, red which was strawberry, purple which was a mix of strawberry, blueberry and some other red fruits. Suigetsu drank a bit of water before continuing eating and he put the bottle back on his belt which had two other bottles. Has he started eating the yogurts again he noticed that some of the costumers were kirihagakure ninjas, most of them chuunin grade by the look of their attire. With the spoon on his mouth he began scouting the room with his eyes, he wanted to make sure none of them were after him, he needed to be careful since some of these could be Orochimaru's subordinates dressed has kirihagakure ninjas... Although that didn't seem the case. But he noticed that more and more were leaving that place with their food on the tables and didn't return... Some were even talking about a member of some organization attacking ninjas. Suigetsu didn't really care, it didn't concern him, so he continued eating.
Has he was half way of eating everything, he noticed that the tables were all empty, all of the sudden. It was strange because yet again they left and some of the plates were full of food... "Something big must be up... Meh I don't really give a damm about it...", and he started eating again. Shortly after a strange men went in. He was wearing a black coat with red clouds on it. Suigetsu raised an eyebrow and tried to remember where he saw that coat... Finaly it hit him, Orochimaru wore that coat once, so that must mean that guy was from the organization called Akatsuki... Suigetsu discreetly took a look at the man and saw who he was. It was the member called Kakuzu, the one that Orochimaru called one of the zombie twins... When he told Suigetsu about him he never realized why they called him a zombie. But months later Suigetsu stumbled upon a book filled with info about almost every akatsuki member...
"Hummm so that's Kakuzu, the one that used a strange technique to stay alive and control 5 shinobi hearts including his own... Not to mention the strange stitches holding his body... Yuck what about his organs?... I guess I really don't want to know!!, he smiled has he looked at the empty cups of yogurt. He took another look at the guy, yup it really was him, he was holding a briefcase, so could he be in here in some sort of business?... Of course, it was Kakuzu, in the files it was written that he was the one handling the funds for Akatsuki. "Humm so that's the one that the chuunins were talking about... I guess they didn't last long seeing that he looks cold-hearted...", he said to himself with a smile on his lips. Then he realized... If he was Akatsuki then he would probably know where to find Kisame!
Suigetsu signaled the waiter for the bill has he looked at the guy. Suigetsu wasn't too much of a talk-started so he would hope his gaze would annoy him enough so he would threaten him...

~Dear Members~
We've got some big news!!! Konohagakure Chronicles is relocating. Don't worry it's not far, infact we're only really dropping an "s" in the web address. The new KC can be found at www.konohachronicle.proboards.com. The reason for this migration is merely an admin switch over but it has given us an excuse to start over with a real plot. This does mean that roleplay threads will be dropped and forgotten but we'll be moving your character applications (and your Ryou) for you so don't worry, you're not starting from scratch again. You can keep your characters, re-apply for them with changes or drop and pick up new ones - it's up to you guys. It's a bit of a nuisance to re-establish your characters but along with a new plot (which includes the chuunin exams) it should be fun! Check out the new plot aswell!!! We do apologuise for the inconveniance this will cause but hope that you'll bare with us. Instructions for existing members will be given on the new site. We'll see you there!

Figured I may as well post this now before I forget. I'll be going into hospital for an op on the 23rd of July, and I'm not too sure how many days I'll be in. Hopefully only two or three, but this is just to let you know and just in case there are complications, like me getting ill or whatever. So yeah, I'll be gone from the 23rd, be back on (hopefully) the 25th/26th. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes.

A pair of cold green irises stared ahead as a hooded figure donned in a long black robe with several red clouds etched upon it made his way through the path into Kirigakure. It had been a while since the Akatsuki treasurer had contracts in Kirigakure. Kakuzu had a contact meeting him at some random youghurt shop. It simply annoyed Kakuzu to no ends the location but money talks and the lady was going to pay Kakuzu very handsomely for the assassination mission that she was going to assign him. Last time they had met in her manor she was unable to dwell onto the details of the mission. yet she had given Kakuzu a contract to look over and sign before he proceeded with the mission. The contract in essence was very simple, it had stated that she was not in charge of Kakuzu's murder if the mission were to take a wrong turn and got himself killed, also Kakuzu would recieve 10 million ryo upon arriving her and meeting her personally, the other half would payed after the mission. K,akuzu snickered at teh prospect of his death, which would most definitely make Hidan his pain in the ass partner thrilled. The absence of Hidan had made Kakuzu's trip extremely quiet, which was an excellent change to him constantly bitching and whining and complaining. How he despised that arrogant, smug self righteous attitude.
The scenery had changed drastically from the stony crevices of Iwagakure where he took a ferry to take him across the sea to Kirigakure. Surprisingly Kakuzu did not face too much trouble from ANBU as he quickly dispatched them and threatened to give the sailors a worse fate if they go off course of attempt to contact anyone. Kakuzu would go out on the deck late at night when the rest of the occupants of the ferry went to bed. He would go out on the deck and watch the constellations all the mean time idly playing with a ring on his left middle finger, the dark green nail polish reflecting the moonlight. Kakuzu grunted as the briefcase he had strapped to his wrist with handcuffs had been there ever since he was in the Fire Country. The irony of the contrast as this monstrous being stood all alone on the desolated deck with bodis scattered everywhere with carrion infesting the corpses and he watched the constellations.
As Kakuzu snapped out of his daydream he was already at the main gate of Kirigakure. Kakuzu then took a semi circle around the village whilst concealing himself beneath the mist that had rolled in around the village. Kakuzu then heard footsteps and stopped dead in his tracks. Quickly the stitches that held Kakuzu's fists in place began to un-stitch themselves. Kakuzu launched his fists at the chunnins guarding it and strangled them dragging them all the way till the corpses lay dead still at his feet. Four more were alerted by the absence of the previous two chunnins. Kakuzu jumped out of his hiding and managed to kick one to the head making his head snap, whilst in midair from the previous attack Kakuzu landed on another's shoulder and face planted him to the floor. Kakuzu then swiftly yet brutally dispatched the other two. With that Kakuzu made his way to the wall and jumped over. That was an extremely high risk maneuver that may have desolated Kakuzu but again money would make Kakuzu pretty much do anything. Kakuzu quickly made his way through a few concealed alleyways barely taking the main road until he arrived at his destination. Upon entering Kakuzu observed an extremely odd shinobi who had an extremely massive Zanbato on his back. The youth had quite a peculir haircut and constantly drinks out his water.
