New Transfer ( Ohime )

[Kagai Tentei]

Kagai had only transfered to this class a week ago and was still alone during most class brakes.
He stood in the Coartyard of the school in the shade of a tree with his cloak billowing slightly in the breeze, He enjoyed the feel of it but he should get on with his prayers.
He stood his eyes closed while he concentrated on his prayer.

Yukata was walking along outside the ninja academy, as normal, with his nose buried in a book. Anyone that wasn't a ninja would have probably kept walking but Yukata was using his hearing to make sure that he didn't walk into someone. Luckily so as he was two steps from being very close to the slightly scary transfer student. Yukata had been the weird transfer student in his time but that was years ago, when the people were more oblivious to their surroundings. This kid must have had a tough time with the move and all.

Yukata's eyes widened as he looked closer at the boy, he seemed, well, freaky. His eyes were closed and the way that the muscles in his face were positioned, he seemed to be thinking. Now, Yukata thought a lot but never with his eyes closed stood up and randomly positioned where anyone could see him. It almost seemed like he was praying. Not too sure whether to interrupt, Yukata slowly and quietly sneaked close to him before reaching out to poke him gently. To get his attention. Yukata closed his eyes whilst doing it, knowing that this probably wasn't a good idea. He didn't want to get eaten by the scary new kid.</sup>

Kagai prayer was just complet when he felt a short sharp prod in his side which made the bell on his front jingle, His eyes crimosn eyes darted open glowing in the shade of the tree as he mumbled
"What"in an emotionless voice,
Probably for the better becouse he was a little iritated at this prayer so nrealy being ruined.
Because he had replyed just as his eyes had opened he didn't reolise who was infront of him, it was the book worm. Well this was fitting both steryotypical outcasts the bookworm and the transfer in conversation, still better be polite.
"I'm Sorry, What Can I Do For You ?" he asked, his initial glare subsiding to a vacant stare.

<sup>'Christ, what is he the son of Satan?' Yukata asked himself as the being started talking to him. As his eyes shot open and glistened as a blood red, it was unnatural and more than just a little unnerving. He immediately retreated his hand and gulped. This guy was just plain odd. "I... Uh. Well, I... I was just wondering if you were ok. I noticed that you seem to stand alone a lot and close your eyes. You don't seem to be communicating with anyone. Now this could be strongly linked to depressions or other psychological problems such as an anxiety disorder." Yukata stopped himself there, feeling that he may have slightly stepped over the line when enquiring into any problems that the boy had. He could have gone on for a good while longer, he hadn't even covered the idea that it was an impulse control disorder; and that topic was endless... Self harming in the way of Trichotillomania... Simple Kleptomania even.

Yukata didn't want to feel uncomfortable around the boy and knew that the boy would probably sense it if he just acter normally, so he told himself simply: Act like he is a normal human being. His body betrayed his thoughts though as his voice wavered and his legs buckled... "Are you okay? And, do you need any help or anything?"</sup>

Kagai smiled, " No, Im fine thank you... I was just praying" He didnt know where this would go, religion was always a hot topic.
He decided that since this was the first to comunicate with him he would attempt to befriend him, He read in a book somewhere that if you make what you fear more human you fear it less, seeing that this boy had what could be described as nothing short of a nervouse disposition at the time and Kagai could not think of anything more human than a name,
" My name is Kagai Tentei, i have transfered from the hot spring village, im happy to make your aquaintance" He knew it was customery to shake hands but kagai had been unable to do that for some time.

Most people would not understand what happened next, it was a fairly odd thing to do. Yukata suddenly got flustered and wasn't making much sense. "I... Well.. See- You" His mumbling and muttering seemed to merge together to make one large sound that made no sense. You see, if there was one thing hat Yukata din't like, it was being shown up. And, by being told about somethig he didn't know, the bookworm felt that he was being shown up. He was meant to knwo everything. How had he never heard of this village. 'The Hot Spring Village?' Yukaa asked himself. 'I must be the most moronic imbecile to ever walk this planet.' He decided to try acting cool even after his small breakdown.
"Oh yeah... The Hot Spring Village... That place is really... Something." Yukata spoke slowly, making up what he was saying on the spot. "I am most happy to have met you Kagai-chan. My name is Yukata, Ohime Yukata." He smiled, but inside his mind he still felt odd around this guy, who was he praying to? Yukata didn't feel right around him and didn't want to ask... "What's with the bell?" Yukata burst out and immediately his hands shot to his mouth, silently cursing himself for being so rude and blunt. That could be an important part of his culture...

Kagai smiled, it was ment to be comferting but he was never very good at that,
" Don't worry...", He said seeing the kids hand shot to his mouth." The bell is a charm from the temple of ...., yeah, a temple, im not sure if it bears any significance... but i cant take it off.", He muttered the last part, rather ashamed of his short comming.

He liked this person, he seamed to be intelligant, very intelligent. The sort of friend it was good to have.

He decided to try and forgoe the rest of the religion and short coming discusion, "Care for a walk" came the low voice.
