Attaining Information - Hizaro

The sand ninja moved swiftly towards the pre-determined meeting spot on the border of Kaze no Kuni. His partner was waiting for him and he was running late. He had heard something interesting about a Kage summit before his departure and had stayed a little later to find out more.

"Where have you been," came his partners low toned grumble as he arrived. He was leaning on a rock with a frown on his face, he was clearly not impressed. "Do you know what I risked to be here!?" he continued.

"I know, I know. You think the risk is less for me!? Anyway, I'm late but with good reason," he explained with a snappy tone.

"Oh yeah? What kind of excuse have you got for me this time? You were attacked by a giant crab? Or was it the lord Kazekage himself?" replied his Konoha counterpart.

"Actually I found something out about a Kage summit but you know what, if you don't want to here it why don't you get lost. I can do this by myself," he said, turning his back to his partner. This guy was always so annoying but he was bluffing when he said he could do it alone. They had been planning to take out the Lady Tsunade for some time and it seemed like the opertunity was coming earlier than either of them had expected. He figured she would be vunerable on the journey back to Konoha and so this would be the best chance to get her. Who knew when another opertunity like this would arise?

"Hey wait a sec- Did you hear that!?" asked the Konoha shinobi, turning his head wildly in the direction of the noise he had heard.
"Where you followed!? Are you that incompetant!?" he raged, reaching into his pouch to draw a kunai.
The sand ninja did likewise, he was always careful to see if he was followed and suspected that his partner had made a blunder somewhere. He didn't bother with a retort, he was too busy trying to locate the source of the noise.

The bushed rustled in the direction the sound came from…and suddenly a jack rabbit bounded from under them and stood near the edge of the clearing. It stood staring at them for a few moments, before bounding back in the direction It came. Having just used Kawarimi no Jutsu, Hizaro stood pressed against the opposite side of a bolder behind the two shinobi. “I need to be more careful.” He Thought He didn’t like the looks of this. Both these men were considered mid-high priority for their respective villages in the bingo book. He was surprised to find a Suna missing-nin so close to the village he abandoned. Hizaro supposed that the reason he was so bold was because nearly all the ANBU where in the city for the Kage summit. Hizaro had noticed the suna-nin in town and he seemed way to interested in the kage summit so he had followed him here, and then stepped on a branch a nearly got him self found out…Hizaro stopped berating himself and paid attention to what to two ninja’s were saying, Ice slowly creped from his finger tips, to his elbows as he prepared to attack at a moments notice.

"Of course I wasn't followed you goddamn moron! It was a rabbit, you are clearly the incompetant one here!" Yelled the Sand-nin as the rabbit appeared from the bush. They both relaxed a little but were clearly more tense than they had been a moment ago.

"Are you gonna hurry up and tell me about this or not, you know as well as I do that on your own you can't to a damn thing to that woman!" said the konoha ninja in what was clearly an attempt to re-direct the conversation.

"Alright already," said the sand ninja in a defeated tone. His bluff had been called. "Tsunade and Gaara are currently in a meeting in Sunagakure with some man who's taken the title Takikage. Apparently he wants Waterfall to be accepted as one of the great nations. The point is Tsunade only has a few jounin and an aide with her. If we can get the guys together quickly we can set up an ambush for her return journey!" he explained, getting more excited about it as he spoke. He made wild hand gestures as he spoke, the kunai in his hand glinting all the while.

"Are you sure it's the best time, it'll be very rushed, something could go wrong," asked his partner.

"I doubt this kind of opertunity will ever come up again. Who knows when she'll leave konoha again!"

They were forgetting their earlier unease as the thought of succeeding their goal swept over their minds. Both were oblivious to the ninja laying in wait behind the boulder.

Well this was an ample opportunity. Hizaro thought to himself. He was worried about their planned attack on the Hokage, de doubted these two had enough goons to mount a successful attack on one of the legendary sanin if she were by herself, let alone any ANBU she'll have with her. The opportunity was it will go a long way to put him in her good graces, if he presented her with two missing-nin who wanted to make an attempt on her life. His forearms were now covered with his most dense form of ice, he silently stepped back away from the bolder end survey it. He then took a deep breath and slammed both fists into the bolder with all his might. For a moment nothing happened, then the opposite side on the bolder exploded outward with tremendous force bombarding the shinobi with pieces of stone. Hizaro then jumped over the remains of the bolder and unleashed 4 kuni in the general direction of the two shinobi.

Both of the missing-nin were caught by surprise and kicked themselves for letting their guard down.

The sand nin threw himself to the ground as the boulder expolded into sharp fragments and hurtled all over the place. This left him no time to escape the Kunai that now flew at the pair. He did his best to push himself up and out of the way, only succeeding in dodging a fatal blow. One caught the back of his knee and must have cut through his tendon as the leg had become useless. The other had found his shoulder and embedded itself there. He cried out in pain as he watched his partner evade them.

The konoha ninja was faster than his sand counterpart and managed to evade the projectiles and shards of stone easily, despite the short he'd gotten. He launched his own attack at the would-be assailant, charging forward, kunai drawn. It was a bad idea to charge into battle head on but he was startled and angry. He swiped at the attacker with the throwing knife. Taijutsu was his speciality so he'd have to move in close sooner or later. The sand ninja threw his own kunai at Hizaro and dragged himself backwards away from them both trying to get himself out of the line of fire so he could attack from a distance. As he struggled to get out of there he noticed the strange substance over teh attackers arms. Was it ice? He would have vocalised his thoughts had it not taken him all he had to keep from writhing in agony.

Hizaro smirked as the ninja blindly rushed him. He raised his arms and easily deflected the ninja's blow with the thick ice covering his forearms. He saw a flash to the side and saw a kuni flying towards him, he stepped out of the way, but was a bit to slow and still received a shallow cut in his left shoulder. “I need to end this quickly.” Hizaro thought. Hizaro ran through a quick set and hand seals and thrust his palm out towards the ex Kohona-nin, 8 razor sharp shards of ice flew out of his palm towards his enemy. Hizaro used the opening to stoop down quick up one of the fragments of stone and hurl it at the injured shinobi , aiming at his head in order to render him unconscious.

The konoha shinobi had no time to respond to the ice shards, he was in too close to the enemy. They flew at him and glinted in the sun light before embedding themselves in his body. He staggered backwards, his life flashing before his eyes. He knew the moment the blows landed that a vital spot had been hit, his heart. The pain was imense but the realisation that death was nigh made everything numb and cold, asthough there was some icy veil sheilding him from it all. He coughed and blood splattered from his mouth before he fell face down on the ground. He was dead.

The sand shinobi opened his mouth to call out to his friend but his cry was cut short by the blow from the rock. He hadn't even noticed it coming for he was consumed by the scene before him. even if he had it was unlikely with his leg that he could have evaded it. As his vision blurred and he felt unconciousness creeping over him he wondered if this was his end too. They had final been given their chance and now they were thwarted in their attempt before it had begun. His last waking thought before the blow induced sleep over came him was about how cruel life was. He eventually slumped to the floor, alive and bleeding from the various wounds on his body, including the latest small gash on his forhead where the rock had cracked against his skull.

Hizaro looked at the the remains of the Kohona missing-nin and sighed. He had had hoped to capture both of the shinobi alive, but he supposed some things were unavoidable. He incased the dead body in ice, and walked over to the unconscious sand-nin. Hizaro grimaced has be bound the shinobi's arms and legs, and searched his body. While removing his weapons he found a scroll detailing the locations of several safe houses and what was stored there "Well this is useful" Hizaro said to himself. Hizaro made incased the 2nd ninja in ice, making a version of ice that wasn’t cold so the ninja wouldn’t freeze to death. His battle done, Hizaro continued on towards Suna the two ice coffins trailing behind him.
