Eiko was waiting around for Kuro yet again, he was off to Sunagakure to collect supplies. They'd been traveling to find recruits though with their personality they weren't having much luck. Eiko was annoyed, she paced around the sparce woodland on the edge of the desert, she couldn't walk on into Suna since she had up and abandoned it some time ago. Kuro was the only man for the job though she was certain he'd screw things up.
Her temper was short and she had no patience for the imcompetance of others. He pace was slow, unaturally slow, a constant tactic incase of surprise combat. Everytime she turned on her heel her white hair flicked violently around. She was short and thin making her look much younger than 13 years old. Eiko was a short distance from the road that led into the desert and although she was making no more effort than usual her presence could not be detacted by sound as she moved so quietly, even in the rustling silk of her loose, form concealing kimono.

Asaki had a hunch, more or less it was research. He knew his clan came from Suna, as well as most of his jutsu were wind based. But that was not the point. He was going to train, and learn. His family had given him consent to travel, he had a uncle who was in suna who was willing to watch over him for the few days he was staying there. So his feet trotted down the dust covered path as he made his way toward the border.
It had been a while of walking, a day had passed already and he continued down the road wondering when he was going to reach the end. Lucky for him everything had been smooth sailing so far, the worst thing that happened is that a flock of birds had stolen some of his food.
And then it happened, he saw the golden glow of the desert in the distance. He let out a soft sigh of relief, just thinking that the scenery was about to get a lot more dull as he continued toward suna. Just as he broke out of the treeline he soon stopped and noticed someone else, so far his trip had been completely blank and lifeless. He looked at her for a moment before walking along again, hoping that he would get by without her noticing him.

Her ears caught the sound of footsteps on the road and she swiveled round to see who was making this disturbing noise. More than anything else, Eiko valued peace and quiet to reflect and concentrate on the world around her. She had learnt to move close to silently for this and her short temper meant she often lashed out with terrifying speed at those who broke her silence. Kuro did this more than most but she was still working on a plan to make him suffer for it.
Her reddish eyes flashed as she spotted the boy as he made his way along the road in the direction of Suna. She was angry at Kuro already and her short fuse was almost at it's end with Kuro taking far longer than necessary so when the sounds that were sourced from this boy roused her from her thoughts she snapped a little. She had contemplated her reactions to these things at length and had come to the conclusion that time spent with Kuro had driven her slightly insane. Eiko felt the need to punish those who had wronged her and so she reached inside her sleeves to draw a few senbon needles in each hand from the small pouches strapped to her arms. She pulled her arms out and lazily flicked the projectiles at him, she was still keeping her speed controlled so that if she needed to be quick she would surprise her enemy.

Asaki quickly went by, he figured he was in the clear. Although then again why would some random person just attack him. He figured he was just paranoid from the trip, and it being his first time out of the village alone. Then he felt something, it was slicing through the air around him, its subtle wavelength of speed. Lucky for him one of the benefits to his kekkei genkai gave him a small awareness of the air in a 5ft awareness around him. Quickly he stepped to the side avoiding the senbon headed toward him.
After dodging he quickly dropped his bag and turned around to face the girl, he looked at her with a glare and slowly pulled out a kunai. He bit his lip wondering who would make the next move, after all Asaki just wanted to avoid the situation as best he could for the time being, he hoped that he would get to suna without any worries.

Eiko wondered how he'd managed to avoid them, he must be more aware of his surroundings than his appearance lead her to believe. She was annoyed that she hadn't hurt him for disturbing her but as he turned to face her she saw the opertunity to find some amusement until Kuro returned. He was taller than her, a larger opponant but she figured he'd fall harder that way. Seeing the kunai in his hand encouraged her more he was readying himself for a fight, she was going to give him one, purely because he'd walked past and roused her from her thoughts.
Slowly she raised her hands up towards her face and made a few hand signs, they were performed slowly as she saw no reason to show her speed yet. Following this she flattened her palm, took a deep breath and exhaled in a way that resembled blowing a kiss. From her palm a violent, desructive wind erupted forward, towards her target with the power to level trees. The technique was called Daitoppa, the great breakthrough and it was one of her favourites. Her face was plain, though her eyes flashed with a mix of menace and anger as she watched to see what he's do now.

Asaki felt a bead of sweat drip down the side of his face. He blamed it on the heat of the desert, although he was more worried about why the girl would attack him randomly. He bit his lip softly, wondering still why she would want to do that. After all he had nothing valuable on him, but he was sure she wouldn't know that just by looking at him.
Noticing he was taller than her he wondered if that would give him a advantage. Although he also wondered if she was some kind of border guard for Suna. He was confused and didn't know what to do. He started to lower his kunai and put it away, but then he noticed the girl preforming a jutsu. He jumped backward, hoping to put some more distance between the two, and then he felt the rapid explosion of the wind. He smirked, after all he was in his element here. He spread his arms open wide and jumped into the air. The massive wave of wind sending him rushing into the air.
He smiled, slowly drifting down toward the earth, although there was something different about how he fell. It seemed as if he was more floating down toward the earth slowly.

Eiko's face remained without expression though her eyes betrayed a flash of fighting spirit. She was amused and interested in him all the more due to his reaction to the powerful daitoppa. It seemed he was a wind user of sorts too to avoid it so well and down gently the way he did. It was like he was manipulating the attack. He would be an interesting match for Eiko. She reached slowly into her loose kimono sleeves, rustling softly as she removed her two metal bladed fans from the straps on her arms. This action made it look as though she was folding her arms, a postition few related to an attack pose. With her arms still in her silken sleeves she slowly advanced towards the boy. Her steps were almost silent as her child like form made an approach. She wasn't the most intimidating figure though her slight build was masked by her volumous clothing. She could still, however, give a very menacing look when she had the intention as she did now. Her her was lowered, her eyes were trained on the confused looking boy. She was ready to spring into action despite how much her pose made it seem like the opposite.

Asaki found himself still drifting downward the large ground underneath him getting closer as he fell through the air. He looked forward to see the girl crossing his arms, he suspected she was up to something but from the distance he couldn't see anything more then some of her larger movements.
As he landed on the ground with a soft thud he dropped to one knee and he stood up to see the girl with her arms still in her sleeves, walking toward him. For a moment he thought that she was giving up or tying to stop the fight, but Asaki knew better after seeing her last jutsu. After all if she could preform a jutsu like that then she was obviously stronger then him, so it seemed odd that she would give up.
He stood there watching her get closer but he didn't move, he bit his lip and waited to see what would happen, the whole time staying on alert.

She opened the fans a tiny amount whilst still inside her volumous silk sleeves and began to focus her chakra in it's wind element uopn the inch of blade that was exposed. Slowly still she extracted each arm from the opposite sleeve and flicked one wrist violently as she outstreched her arm towards him. Eiko released the chakra in a razor sharp blast towards the signifigantly closer boy whilst simultaneously releasing the five senbon in the slots between each blade of metal in the fan.
The blast release was reletively small and precise, it would cut deep into flesh but was unlikely to sever limbs due to the small area of the fan which had been used in it's original concentration. Her other arm hung loosely at her side with fan in hand. It remained a fraction open with chakra concentration humming gentle thought it's special, thin metal. There was no need to attack with both or with speed yet since the boy had so far been unreactive. For now she would take things easy and enjoy hurting him as much as possible for disturbing her.

(Sorry been outta town)
Asaki stood there watching the girl, his hand on a kunai in his large sleeves that hung downward over his hands. She was getting closer, and he gave her a strange look, clutching onto his kunai tighter as he watched waiting for what was going to happen next. And then she attacked, he raised his arms to cross across his chest and he shouted as he felt a sharp pain in his arm as the blade of wind started to slice in, he heard the whistling of the senbon behind them as he started to fall backward from the first blow.
Asaki quickly steadied himself and looked down to his bleeding arm, the senbon about to strike him as well and he looked up. The small mark under his arm started to grow quickly and the senbon stopped suddenly in mid air. There was a loud rushing noise around him as the senbon stopped floating in the air and dropped in to the sand.
Pulling out his kunai he tossed it into the air, where it started to spin in his rush of wind, gaining momentum before shooting outward at the girl at a speed that no human could match throwing their own kunai.

Eiko observed her attack and his defense with her keen red eyes darting after her senbon. She was still unsure of exactly how he stopped the senbon without touching them. It could have been highly accurate chakra expulsion but this seemed unlikely. It may also have been a wind element jutsu of some sort though he had not performed any hand seals so she doubted this theory also. Regardless of how he did it he hadn't evaded her initial attack and watching it slice at him caused a menacing little smile to play on her face.
The smile vanished quickly as he began his retaliation, throwing the kunai up instead of towards her. At first she thought he was setting off a trap and was anxious for a moment. Her worry was replaced with curiousity as the blade began to rotate in the air though no visible forces were acting upon it. Quite suddenly the blade was hurtling towards her and although her reaction was fast it wasn't fast enough. The blade tore through the silk of her kimono and sliced past her arm painfully. She gritted her teeth to avoid uttering a cry of pain.
A new wave of anger swept over her and she began to speed up her approach, breaking into a blurred sprint. Rushing headlong towards him she let off a second wind attack from her other fan, followed again by the senbon stored between it's blades. She raised both fans up as she ran, ready to wield them as blades when she was close enough to the boy to strike him.
