Stretching her sinewy leg on a nearby boulder, Naara warmed up for the intensive training she was about to begin. With the Chuunin Exams around the corner, she had to be ready for everything and anything. Slipping her leg off the rock and kicking it out a few times, Naara was pleased with the elasticity her muscles had taken to. Stepping into the center of a small clearing she had made earlier, the younger Tomoyo formed a simple clone and took a fighting stance. Both armed at the ready with kunai in either hand, it only took a moment for the battle to commence.
Striking left and right, Naara took at once the offensive. Yet as her onslaught continued, the clone side-kicked at her ribs, effectively knocking the wind out of her. Stumbling backwards, clutching at her bruised side, Naara stared with blank eyes at the clone. 'Suck it up.' She thought, inwardly cringing at the pain. Putting both hands up once more, Naara waited for the clone to make the first strike. With a wicked glean in its eye, the doppelganger was off, charging full speed at the ever patient Genin. Yet just as it was to strike, Naara drove her kunai into its evanescent temple. With only a moments pause, the jutsu disappeared, leaving only faint specks of water on the rocky ground.
Sighing and wiping the sweat that beaded her brow, Naara straightened her posture before heading over to a boulder. On it rested her lunch, only a meager sandwich and water, but enough for any ninja. Sitting with ease on the large rock, Naara leaned back, resting on the palms of her hands. Above, the sky was clear and sunny. Taking a moment to admire the weather, Naara resisted the urge to alter it. 'It only brings pain to those who abuse it.' She assured herself, remembering the last fool from her clan who crushed himself trying to bring a clear day in the middle of a blizzard to impress his bride. Parting some of her bandages to take a sip of water, a vague smile crossed Naara's face at the thought.

Sada leaned against a boulder, holding one hand to her aching side. She'd been practicing all morning. Sweat covered her skin and Sada had removed skirt, poncho, and apron, leaving her in only her gray shirt and pants. Even her shoes had joined the growing pile of cloths. The rubble of what used to be big rocks littered the area close around her. It almost looked like some one had dumped gravel on the grass.
"Dammit, I still can't get it." Sada grumbled, sitting down among the stones with her legs crossed. Her hair had come undone from its long ponytail and she absently put it back up. "What the hell am I doing wrong?" she asked no one in particular. The only thing Sada had really practiced this morning was her control over her emotions. It was exhausting work, but no matter what she tried Sada was stuck. "Its all that bitches fault." she growled, her teeth beginning to grind together as they always did when she started thinking about Naara. Sada's hands closed into fists and her heart began to beat faster. The wind started to pick up and its chill made Sada shiver as it cooled her damp cloths. It also brought her back to reality with a vengeance. It was that very thing that she was out training to prevent. Getting to her feet, Sada dropped into a crouch. Moving one hand slowly forward, she stopped just before it touched the boulder in front of her.
"Hyaa!" Sada swung forward with her other fist, connecting solidly with the rock. The pain across her knuckles was sharp, but she didn't succumb to it. Instead she used the sting and the blows to help beat back the rage threatening to boil over. With her fists, Sada tried to beat down her emotion. When the skin on her hands split, she jumped high up in the air, high as she could. For a moment it felt like she was floating and she looked up into the sky. The clouds looked soft and fluffy, but they where just as far away and untouchable as they looked on the ground. Gravity took over then, and Sada plummeted back towards the Earth. Spinning in the air, she aimed her legs down. Her speed picked up dramatically and Sada braced for the impact. The shock of hitting the boulder traveled all the way up her body and shook her to her core. A sound like twisting metal came from the rock as countless tiny cracks covered its surface. Kneeling on top of the boulder, her legs quietly twitching in pain, Sada panted. When nothing else happened, her teeth snapped together.
"God dammit! Break!" she screamed at the boulder. Totally lost to the pain of her body, Sada pulled back and started striking wildly at the rock. Her knuckles where bleeding freely now, leaving red smears even through the gloves she still wore. Anger welled up inside her, and for a while cold winds blustered around her, pulling her hair again from its tie and sending her cloths flying across the field. But after just a few minutes the wind died back down to nothing. Sada felt as though she had reached a special place inside herself. It made her feel calmer then she could remember feeling for a long time. But it was terribly fleeting. Almost as soon as she realized it, the feeling and the place slipped away from her and the burning spot of anger, just behind her stomach was back. Sada didn't even know it had been there till is came back. She placed one shaking, bleeding hand on her abdomen, just above the spot. She'd only made a divot in the top of the boulder and she didn't know how long she'd been working on it.

An all too familiar shriek shook Naara from her rest. Looking with utter confusion in the direction of the furious screech, a faint fog began to roll through the rocky surroundings. Yet just as soon as the weather began to shift, the Genin caught herself, clearing her mind of all emotion. Closing her eyes and taking a deep breath was all Naara could do. But with her extensive control over the limit that seemed to plague her sister, such small occurrences were of little concern to the younger of the two. 'Now who could that be?' She thought, listening to the sounds of one's untamed fury.
Walking closer to Groud 0, it became all too apparent who the culprit was. In mere seconds, the wind picked up to furious pace, swirling the dusty air around and flinging large rocks like toys. Yet in those very same moments, control was taken over the currents, and the maelstrom subsided. Rounding a large boulder, Naara's cool eyes lay on her sister's slouched form. It appeared as if she had been practicing again; any progress made remained questionable. Glancing at Sada's bleeding hands, Naara debated speaking up.
Figuring it was unavoidable, the younger Tomoyo spoke softly to Sada, her tone chilled as her voice was low. "You're doing it wrong. Instead of lashing out with your emotions, breath and release them with the air." It wasn't likely her advice would be taken well, but somewhere, Naara knew Sada would take it. Keeping her distance, Naara waited patiently for the next burst of uncontrolled anger. Such things were commonplace when the pair were together. Yet each time, Sada would crumble under her own emotions, falling over in a heated heap. "Sada?"

"I can see that its not working." Sada growled. She forced herself to stand up, even though her muscles practically screamed in protest. Her legs quivered finely, and Sada prayed her sister was too far away to see it. "And I also don't need advice from a cold witch like you!" She glared down at her sister, trying to work through her exhaustion to think of another scathing remark, when she realized something. Sada's expression slowly cleared from one of anger to one of confusion. The anger and jealousy that normally where so in abundance when ever Naara was around, weren't there. Or, if they where, Sada found she could think past them, set them to the side for a moment.
Completely ignoring Naara, who was standing by a far off boulder and looking as blank and frigid as ever, Sada turned and tried to get off the rock. She half way made it before her legs finally gave out, and buckled. She managed to slid down the face instead of tumble head over heels, but Sada still landed hard on her back end. She winced, but it wasn't the first time she'd landed ungracefully on the stony ground. Now her back was to her sister, with a sizable boulder between them.
Maybe it was simple exhaustion that was deadening her usually firey temper, but Sada felt it was more then that. She also felt it had something to do with the quiet place inside herself that she'd discovered. 'Is that where Naara goes?' she wondered, pressing a shaking hand to her forehead. That thought made Sada reluctant to try and go back. She vehemently refused to walk the same path as her sister. Even if the advice she often gave without being asked was just as often useful.
The thought reminded Sada of her unwelcome company and she tried to rise again. Her legs and feet where still rebelling how ever and she gave up quickly. The sweat that had drenched her cloths was beginning to dry and Sada could practically feel herself catching a cold. Cocking her head to the side and projecting her voice to reach, Sada called reluctantly to her sister. "If your just going to stand there and pretend your one of the rocks instead of train, why don't you make yourself useful and gather my cloths back together." Sada scowled darkly before adding. "Its your fault they got scattered anyways! So hurry it up!"

Frowning lightly at the insults Sada so feebly threw at her, Naara took a lazy pace as she wandered around the clearing. Picking up the littered and thoroughly soiled bits of Sada's clothing one by one, Naara pondered over how two people so closely related could be so drastically different. 'It didn't used to be like this.' She thought, fighting back the melancholy memories that threatened to consume her. Having retrieved the last bit of clothing, the younger sister headed back to the beaten rock. Looking down at Sada with eyes lacking any emotion, Naara threw the clothing at her sister before walking a ways off.
"And don't press yourself too hard. You're no good in the exams if you can't walk." She called, glancing back. The Chuunin Exams would prove to be a challenge. Any who aspired to pass it had to be careful both before and during it. Yet with Sada's furious pace, her legs would be broken weeks before. Such premonitions were troubling, and as Naara picked resumed her lunch, the skies above grew dark and tremulous.
((Crap, I know. You beat posts out of me and this is what you get.))

Sada caught her cloths and scowled at her sister as she moved away. "I'll be fine, don't worry. I'd never miss an opportunity to see you get beat!" Sada called after her. She quickly slipped on her poncho and scarf, but her apron she couldn't tie on unless she got up. Cursing to herself, Sada gripped the rock behind her and prepared to force her legs to work again. The muscles had already begun to stiffen, so when Sada tried the first time, she felt the hot prickles of tears in her eyes. But there was no way she would let Naara have the satisfaction of being right. Even if her younger sister wasn't there to see it, Sada was not going to give up. 'Its just another part of my training.' she thought, smiling grimly at the idea.
With that in mind, it almost made the pain easier to bear. 'Shouldn't I be used to the hurt?' Sada wondered as she slowly worked herself to standing. No matter how often she was wounded or injured or worked herself to exhaustion it always felt like the first time. When she'd finally gained her feet again, Sada leaned against the boulder, panting heavily, and buckled on her half-skirt. She felt a little better with all her cloths on, warmer too. It was like having a shield against all the doubts that had plagued her only a little before. Smirking at the dry grass and dusty stones, Sada shook her head. 'What am I thinking? Since when do I have doubts?'
She pushed off from the rock and walked a few stiff passes away. Since she'd been able to get up on her own, Sada was still able to train a little more. Putting her hands before her chest, palms together and fingers pointed up, Sada began a different type of training. Her knuckles protested loudly, split skin made to stretch just as it was settling to heal. Sada ignored them like all the rest. With a few pokes, she got her chakra to uncurl from the tight little ball she'd rolled it into. Spreading it through her network, Sada became aware of Naara's chakra signature. It left a slightly bland taste in her mouth as always. But Sada payed her little attention, she had more important things to concentrate on then her annoying ice queen of a sibling.
As her chakra flooded her system, so too did the pit of anger, always bubbling inside her, begin to reach tendrils out. The wind began to pick up, whiping Sada's hair into a flurry of tangles and yanking on it. Instead of attempting to shove those searching fingers of hate and rage back, Sada tried a different approach. She began to slowly feed them with her chakra. At first it swelled, the wind threatened to blow so hard it would knock her over, until Sada forced it to her will. She couldn't stop it, but she could make it do what she wanted. The raging gusts around her continued to scream their fury, but as she brought them under he control, all other dust devils died, save for one that spun only around her.
((This is what you get when you beat posts out of me. Happy?))

Watching the flurry of changing currents intently, Naara's mind traveled to how stark different she and Sada were. Sada was a whirlpool of emotion; every passing thought and feeling tossed and warped into the beast that most people saw. Her very being was focused on anger, jealousy, and a deep sense of inadequacy. While Naara, though a blood relative, was the exact opposite. Control and focus are very rarely lost in her presence. Not so much as a breeze passes without Naara's say. Though the very ability that keeps her so in tune with herself left her bumbling and awkward around others. Yet as the many twisters dissipated save for one, Naara felt their likeness would soon begin to grow.
Hopping off her resting spot, the Genin looked around herself before laying eyes on a heavy boulder. No person, no matter what their size, could move the rock without a jutsu of sorts. Smirking underneath her wraps, Naara was struck with inspiration. 'She's getting better. Why not test what she's got?' Spreading her feet evenly, Naara took a deep breath before clearing her mind. Within moments, she began to focus her chakra into thin wisps. Like the all too familiar tendrils Sada had used only moments before, Naara's chakra crept out into the air, whirling into small vortexes. Though before they could reach the magnitude of that to rival Sada's fury, the kunoichi willed them to mesh together over the large rock before her. Relaxing so as to let the full force of the limit take over, the smirk that so graced Naara's lips twisted into a wicked grin. "Hey Sada!"
Not waiting for a response, Naara sent the large rock soaring into the sky. Round and round it spun, caught in the depths of the devil she had summoned. On the ground, smaller rocks were also soon trapped within the gale, crashing against one another to form razor edges. Grinning from ear to ear, Naara moved the storm of rocks above were her sister was training. "Heads up." She whispered, her voice dripping with the venom she so tenderly hid each day. Ripping her limit into control again, the vortex disappeared within a matter of seconds. Left naked in the sky, the giant boulder and the many shards of rock began their descent back to the Earth. Should a typical citizen have been caught in that situation, if the pelting of stone knives wouldn't kill them, the boulder that had so effortlessly been tossed would crush them.
Falling to her knees in exhaustion, Naara could only imagine how Sada would react.

(So not done)
Sada began to realize something was wrong when a suspiciously round shadow suddenly hovered directly above her and began to rapidly grow. As soon as she looked up all her previous control disappeared and the wind died around her. Naked fear welled up in her guts and her already shaky knees nearly turned to water. Her hands where still clasped before her chest.
But then a thought crossed Sada's racing mind. She'd heard Naara call out just before the boulder appeared. Sada's jaw clenched and her teeth barred. This was obviously a plot of that icy skinny devil bitch. Fear instantly turned to anger and adrenaline. So her dear little sister wanted to play? Sada's grimace shifted and turned into a wolfish smile, full of violent promise. She was more then willing to play along.
The razor stone shards where the first to reach her. Sada wouldn't have time to defend or escape the oncoming boulder if she simply stayed still and defended against the falling projectiles. Drawing out a kunai, Sada leaped into the air, going to meet the stones high above the ground. the sharp rocks whizzed by, practically cutting the air. Sada was unable to dodge all of them and this stinging scratches appeared across her body and face.
